Job Title Jr. Engineer – Vendor Development
Department Vendor Development
Job Description To handle all purchasing function to ensure that goods and supplies are purchased at the most competitive prices and are of the required quality.
Qualification Diploma/B.E. (Mechanical)
Skills Required
  • Should be enthusiastic, confident and proactive with good communication skills
  • Should be able to independently handle the manufacturing activities which are outsourced. Should be able to study and thoroughly understand the drawings so as to decide the machining processes and choose the vendor for the requirement.
  • Should have good negotiations skills
  • Should be able to follow-up with vendors, with frequent visits at the vendor site.
  • Should be able to guide the vendor on the technical expertise required for getting the job done by the vendor
  • Should be thorough with all machining processes
  • Computer proficiency in M.S. Word, M.S. excel, e-mailing & working exposure with ERP system
Experience 2 to 4 years in Vendor Development/Sub-contracting
