FOILEX - series of monolayer blown film lines are available with outputs ranging from 30 kg/hr to 1000 kg/hr and lay-flat widths ranging from 50 mm to 5000 mm for processing polymers as diverse as LD, LLD, HM - HDPE, PP. FOILEX – mono layer blown film lines are also available in special configurations to process HDPE rich films both through high stalk bubble and low frost line height bubbles.   AQUAFLEX TM - Downward Extrusion Blown Film Lines

Key features

AQUAFLEX blown film lines are downward extrusion water quenched universal application film lines to produce various combinations of PP and PE grades tailored to customer's specific requirements. The lines are capable to process LD, LLD, HD, PP and EVA. For narrow width bags a twin die-head downward extrusion blown film line is also offered to produce narrow width PP bags for grocery packaging application. These lines are extremely energy efficient and give optimum production rate which makes investment to installed capacity ratio much favorable.

Also available is the Multilayer PPTQ film line to produce a substitute film for the less stringent application of BOPP and CPP Films. With the core layer of sealant polymer grade, the outer layer could be of a designer resin grade or a simple homopolymer for achieving the appropriate property mix. AQUAFLEX is available up to 3 layer configuration to produce variety of films with output of upto 150kg/hour.

While mono and two layer lines are available with oscillating die, the three layer line is available with oscillating haul-off used in several medical packaging applications with right kind of multilayer film structures.

  MULTIFOIL TM - Multilayer Blown Film Lines

Multifoil co-ex blown film lines are backed by proven engineering experience of Rajoo for over two decades and are available in the widest range from two layer configuration for general purpose packaging film to nine layer line for barrier and technical grade films with output ranging from 120kg/hr to 1200 kg/hr and lay-flat width ranging from 600mm to 5000mm.

Multifoil lines are available with advanced automation features like integrated gsm control, gravimetric blending and dosing, contact/non-contact type IBC system with pneumatic/digital correction, automatic thickness control, fully automatic center-gap-surface winder and integrated process control. A range of system solutions can be configured to adapt to the ultimate processing needs.

UCD – Universal Co-ex Die Head (a stack die system with horizontal melt path) is an indigenous innovation for incorporation into MULTIFOIL blown film lines is completely modular and gives tremendous flexibility to processor and can be also upgraded from two layers to nine layers co-ex configuration. Such UCD dies are in the market since 2000 and are proven successful.

Rajoo is the only Asian supplier of dedicated multilayer blown film lines for producing FFS film for use in resin sacks. As the film will have to match with the machine speed and will also have to pass through stringent handling conditions including prolonged exposure to sunlight calling for high puncture resistance, the extrusion of such film calls for quite sophisticated blown film lines.   FOMEX TM - PS/PP/ABS/rPET/EVA Sheet Lines

Rajoo has done pioneering developments in polymer foam extrusion in India and have emerged as the only supplier of foam extrusion lines christened Fomex using both blown film (Fomex – B) and sheet extrusion (Fomex – S) process using either chemical or physical foaming. Rajoo offers foam extrusion solutions to produce foam with low density of 0.02 kg/m3 to medium density of 0.22 kg/m3 and also high density foam with density of 0.45 kg/m3.

Fomex – S sheetlines are offered in capacities from 140kg/hr to 250kg/hr and density range of 0.22 to 0.02 using different physical blowing agents. Rajoo is proud to claim that more than 90% of cap liners and foamed banners / calendars in India are produced on FOMEX .

Rajoo offers PS foam sheet line and vacuum formers in technical collaboration with world leaders -Commodore Inc., U.S.A. These lines are capable of producing fine quality PS foam sheet with butane or pentane as physical blowing agent which is then converted into vacuum foamed articles like trays, dishes, lunch boxes, etc.

Fomex incorporates advanced features like high pressure gas injection pump, volumetric / gravimetric 4 component master batch dosing unit mounted on hopper block, melt pressure transducers, hydraulic continuous screen changer with micro processor based circular water temperature controller units, static charge eliminators, automatic turret winder etc based on end application

Rajoo pioneered developments in PP Non woven fabric extrusion and has emerged as the only Indian supplier with production capacity ranging from 200 to 500kg/hr and fabric weight range from 12 to 150 gsm depending on applications.

Nonwoven fabrics are broadly defined as sheet or web structures bonded together by entangling fibre or filaments (and by perforating films) mechanically, thermally or chemically. They are flat, porous sheets that are made directly from separate fibres or from molten plastic or plastic film. Typically, certain percentage of recycled fabrics may be used in nonwoven fabrics. The percentage of recycled fabrics varies based upon the strength of material needed for the specific use. Conversely, some nonwoven fabrics can be recycled after use, given proper treatment and facilities. For this reason, some consider nonwovens a more ecological fabric for certain applications, especially in fields and industries where disposable or single use products are important, such as hospitals, schools, nursing homes and luxury accommodations.

Nonwoven fabrics are engineered fabrics that may be a limited life, single-use fabric or a very durable fabric. Nonwoven fabrics provide specific functions such as absorbency, liquid repellence, resilience, stretch, softness, strength, flame retardant, washable, cushioning, filtering, use as a bacterial barrier and sterility. These properties are often combined to create fabrics suited for specific jobs, while achieving a good balance between product use-life and cost. They can mimic the appearance, texture and strength of a woven fabric and can be as bulky as the thickest paddings. In combination with other materials they provide a spectrum of products with diverse properties, and are used alone or as components of apparel, home furnishings, health care, engineering, industrial and consumer goods.

  DRIPEX TM - Drip Irrigation Pipe Plant For Dripper Flat And Round Dripper

Key features

Rajoo offers drip irrigation extrusion systems for round and flat dripper with servo driven dripper insertion device, max output 250kg/hours.
Dripex is equipped with two stainless steel Vacuum sizing tank and cooling System for precise water pressure, high corrosion resistant and long useful life. The 3-axis mechanical adjustment system with lateral position control allows quick precise positioning. The double belt haul-off is provided for optimum pulling force and to prevent ovality in pipe.

The drippers are fed by a centrifugal feeder onto a conveyor belt and are advanced via two Inserting Belts. The insertion mechanism is driven by a digital servo motor. The drippers are pushed through a cooled inserting device which is placed inside the cross-head.
The device has two insertion modes, Continuous Inserting and Intermittent Inserting. In Continuous Inserting, the drippers are continuously moving; the Inserting Wheels rotational speed is dependent on the speed of the pipe and the desired spacing. In Intermittent Inserting, the drippers are inserted one at a time. The Inserting Belts insert one dripper and stop. The Intermittent Inserting can be used to produce coils with grouped drippers where the spacing dimension is changing.

A lightweight, mechanically controlled and pneumatic backed up dancer assembly is provided to maintain tension of the pipe between haul off unit and winder. The winder is furnished with automatic length counter and spicing push button and capable to take wind max coil dia of 750mm.

As a technology partner for polymer producers, developers, universities and processors - Rajoo has consistently followed impelling technological developments in plastics extrusion with its own new developments.
Rajoo has supplied 5 lab lines of various configurations to world's polymer giants like Reliance Industries & IOCL.

LabEX – Combo can be used as a laboratory line for testing and developing of new formulations and products, process and parameter control is of utmost significance.
An innovative barrier sheet cum blown film line is one of its kinds in the whole world. This combo line consists of four extruders, screen changers, melt pumps, flat sheet die, Universal Co ex Five Layer blown film die head UCD® and fully automatic touch screen based integrated process control panel to give an output of up to 75 kg/hr. of co extruded barrier sheets or films.

The machine operates either as a sheet line or as a blown film line. Extruders are common to both the set ups. A novel system easily converts the line from blown film extrusion to sheet extrusion set up and vice versa. The line is designed to produce HIPS, EVOH and PP sheets of up to 650mm width in a thickness range from 0.2 mm to 0.8 mm and barrier blown films of PE, PA, EVOH from 25 to 100 micron.

Rajoo  has also developed world's smallest 3 layer blown film line(LabEX – Nano) to give an in-depth understanding of how various resins, their % and process conditions affect high output blown film production and properties using a small amount of resin and less power consumption which finally leads to very low operational cost.

Though being smallest in the world, this lab line contains all the assemblies and features of a high‐tech 3layer blown film line like barrier screw, concentric spiral co‐ex die, oscillating haul off, IBC, servo drives and touch screen control which reduce the power consumption to a  great extent. LabEX - Nano – 3 layer blown film line can produce thermoplastic film of thickness from 8 to 100  microns, widths of 40 to 250mm in continuous length rolls.

LabEX produces thermoplastic film and sheets to understand a variety of key functions like:

  • Material selection
  • Recipe development
  • Quality assurance
  • Configuring process variables like temperature profile, output parameters, performance verification, trouble-shooting.
